Born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Spent most of my life in San Francisco, back in the Bay Area (East Bay) after a stint in New Mexico. I build software, lead small engineering teams, and lately spend a lot of time thinking about and experimenting with what humans and AI agents can build together.

About
I'm a software engineer and team lead with experience building consumer-facing products, internal platforms, and client software across companies of all sizes — from scrappy startups to Oracle and Zillow. I care about code quality, clear communication, and building things people actually want to use.
Lately I've been deep in agentic engineering — designing and building systems where AI agents collaborate with humans and each other to get real work done. I'm interested in the architecture, tooling, and product decisions that make those systems reliable and useful rather than just impressive demos.
When I'm not at a keyboard I'm chasing after two young kids, cycling, hunting down live music and art shows, or snacking on pickled herring and rye toast.

Built and maintained consumer-facing features — including Mortgage tools and Neighborhood pages — for a leading real estate search platform used by millions of daily users. Managed teams of 3–8 full-stack engineers and testers. Built and maintained internal APIs.

Designed and built front-end and back-end components for enterprise portal software (WebCenter Portal). Designed and built provisioning infrastructure and tooling for Oracle's new multi-tenant cloud platform (Oracle Cloud).
